I'm going with....
...Mark Foley. (I know it will come down to McCain and Guiliani, but I absolutely want the Republicans to lose).
Who knew?
Who knew you were such a blatant partisan, guru?
I'm not really
To be a blatant partisan I believe I would have to solely support the Democrats and I certainly don't do that.
But I really am in a very anti-Republican mood lately.
Any scenario?
So is there any scenario in which you would vote for a Republican?
Absolutely
I've voted for many Republicans. Heck, I voted for George W. Bush in 2004 (admittedly, it wasn't for president - I wrote his name in as a write in for a court position, because I really, REALLY wanted him to be in need of a new job). I have found Republicans I like and sometimes even ones that I just don't dislike as much as the Democrat or whoever they are running against. As it stands right now, I can't concieve of the Democrats putting up anyone for president in 2008 that I will dislike enough to consider voting for the Republican (nor do I see anyone on the Republican side who excites me enough to think I would want to support them either).
Is it who I want to be the nominee or who will be the nominee?
Because I can't see myself voting for anyone on that list (ok, ok, maybe Giuliani if the Dems run Hillary) because I hate the Republican platform from top to bottom. So I should probably sit out this poll if that is what you want.
If it is who I believe will be the nominee, I've got a few thoughts on that.
So what say you Will?
BTW- Thanks for changing the poll
How about
How about who you think will be the nominee, not who you want to be the nominee.
Expat, this is your chance
I mean, there's going to be a Republican nominee no matter what, and that nominee might win. Given that possibility, Expat, surely you must favor some on the list more than others. This is your fantasy opportunity to pick the person you wouldn't vote for but who might just win.
