Bio

I'm a prospective academic who is married with two kids. I'm an orthodox Christian--as opposed to a "theocrat," "Christianist" and other labels of doom. In a perfect political world I'd be a pro-life, conservative (Blue Dog?) Democrat who believes that government should be sleek, efficient, and fiscally responsible. That perfect world doesn't exist at the moment. I'm intrigued by the principle of subsidiarity in social justice discussions.
Tradition: good. Community: good. European soccer: good. The Cubs: not good but not bad. Theocratic conspiracy theories: bad. The BCS: bad. The Yankees: superbad.
