Swift Kids for Truth

GL's picture

These three are the best, most relevant political ads I've seen in this election cycle. Swift Kids for Truth tell it like it is.

On Hillary Clinton

On Barak Obama

On John Edwards

P.S. Don't be a nimrod.

Aren't those hilarious?

I watched them yesterday with my wife and we both howling with laughter. I just wish it wasn't so close to the truth

Swift Kids

I donot understand the point...is it to parody the Swift Boaters or the D candidates?
IMO this is counter-prop for the Dems who are petrified about the success of the Swift Boaters on Fraud Kerry...the Swift Boaters were evidently telling the truth, otherwise all the Fraud had to do was release his DD form 180.
HMMMM, why did he say he would release and yet has not done so?
Because he is a LIAR...get over it, JFraudK's crediblity is ZERO!

If this just like the trolls

If this just like the trolls - concentrate on a candidate's name or his race or some other meaningless aspect instead of the issues. Just like 2004.

Trolls - unimaginatively trolling for the votes of racists, fascists and the uninformed.

Peace through knowledge and reason!

on the other hand it is

on the other hand it is perfectly ok for blacks to automatically vote for obama, just because he is black, and for women to vote for hitlery just be cause she is a woman. / sarcasm

Swift Kids for Truth

My first reaction to the Swift Kids for Truth ads was that the Republicans were up to their usual negative, divisive campaign antics. However, I was disappointed to find that Huffington Post was at the core of this stunt. I use to have a great deal of respect for the journalistic quality of Huffington Post. Arianna, you missed on this one. These ads are terrible and what's more they are abusive in the use of children who have no understanding of what they are saying or the impact they are having. I think this may be illegal and I wouldn't be surprised to see a law suit against 23/6. Mind you, I am a big fan of 23/6 and Huffington Post but you guys stepped over the line this time. Very bad taste. Not funny. Abusive of young children.

Laugh a little Any of you

Laugh a little

Any of you who are so worked up over this need to get a sense of humor. The kids are not damaged. The comments only mock the ridiculousness of the true Swift Boat ads. All, please both grow and lighten up.

This is potentially

This is potentially dangerous stuff for the kids and the candidates.
There are people in the hinterlands who just might not possess the capacity
to realize parody.
If the "swiftboating" message is taken at face value, as was done with John Kerry, Dems might get damaged.
Upon first seeing the ads, I wondered if the kids were cultist products.
Why put this stuff out when blowback is possible?

It is not funny to me. Who

It is not funny to me. Who encourage these kids to be negative at such young age, instead of teachning good message about human beings, that person is a sicko. I am sure that God is really sad about this performance. Exploiting kids and teaching them bad messages.

It is sad and pathetic. A world of miserable adults. I am not impress. I am Obama supporter but I disagree about the messages about each of these candidates. Hillary Clinton is acussed about things in White House that is not true, and the message about Obama and Edwards does not make sense or right. Stupid messages about the candidates.

I can not believe you are teaching these young kids how to lie. I am also disappointed in their parents who allowed their kids to participate in such degrading performance all for money.
Future kids that you need to teach how to be positive about the world and people, teach them good messages now you are teaching them spitefulness, negativity, lies, saddness, fights, confrontation, etc. How dare you talked about Senator Clinton not being a woman, a child will wonder about that statement? You went low making the kids give such messages about Senator Obama and Senator Edwards. These candidates have done better than you in achieving success.

Sad, pathetic and pitiful.
