Great post. This administration's intentions are admirable, but their policy is terrible. I'm not even sure if they a) think they can make the American public want a different type of car from what they want now or b) plan to force Americans to buy cars they don't want. The hubris--to think that Washington bureaucrats know how to run a car company.
