I have been following this case since the very beginning and my heart and prayers go out to Eric, his family and his many many friends. I'm overjoyed that this man is on his way home. I will hold off on my personal celebration, until he has landed safely back in the U.S.

I recently read an update letter sent to me on Eric's current situation. As I recall in my research Nicaragua calls themselves a domacracy and claims to adhear to the laws governing a
domacracy. Nicaragua also insists that their consitution is patterned after our consitution. As I also recall it is illegal by our legislation and our consitution as well as international law to try an absinteeism case as well as commit double jeapardy by re trying a case which has already been tried where the defendant in question, ie Eric Volz has been found innocent and or exhonnorated in this case.

In my opinion, any democracy violating these international legislations,ie Nicaragua risks great repercussions on a global scale to their own economy and permanent finanical ruin of their economy. Not to mention losing funding, aide, and protection from the global powers of the free world leaving Nicaragua open, alone, venerable and subjected to takeovers from any third world nutcase insergent cells who are looking to take power from the first unprotected third world country they can find. Granted while the Santinistas don't have a whole lot of brains. Hopefully they have of a sixteeth of a brain to relize that it would be to their advantage to drop this rediculious,retarded and assinign attempt to petition beating a dead horse so to speak,ie trying to further unjustly pursecute Eric; because Nicaragua doesn't stand a chance in hell of winning this one.

Nicaragua in America we have a saying "We already put a boot in your ass by freeing Eric Volz and that is the american way.
