I consider myself a "conservabal." I grew up in a liberal Jewish home and always followed the left-liberal line. In my forties I started to form opinions by weighing the evidence myself, rather than letting my ideology do my thinking for me. Now I'm a man without an ideology. I have opinions that would get me kicked out of either camp. But I have more clarity on the issues and the freedom to think for myself. It's a lonely place to me, so I'm grateful for existence of your site.
