So last month my wife and I finally broke down and bought an SUV. We had long fought the pressure to buy an SUV or a minivan. We eventually came to the conclusion that it was necessary since we have two kids. As soon as one of our kids wants to have a friend come home after school, a car isn't big enough to fit another.

I kinda feel like a bullseye has been placed upon me by environmentalists. That somehow I have made a morally reprehensible choice to pollute the earth.
